Designing the Business Process Architecture for a Fleet Management provider in a Post Merger Integration

Project Objectives

As part of the post merger process, the differing process architectures of both the acquiring and the acquired company were to unify. A common process model and To-Be-processes had to be defined and documented.

Our Contribution

Initially, AVANTALION conceptualized a common process architecture for the merging companies, which served as basis for the following definition and modelling of To-Be-processes.

The process documentation also covered General Data Protection Regulation relevant processes as well as closing specific internal Compliance/ Audit gaps.

AVANTALION further supported in developing the process architecture and process documentation in Finance and Accounting.




AVANTALION set up a pan-European process architecture for the evolving company.

Moreover, AVANTALION modelled more than 200 processes and reached the project target even before deadline.

For project handover, AVANTALION defined potentials for process optimization and a basis for an internal CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) concept.
