The potential merger of major European Banks has been all over the news the last few days. We are very curious to follow the developments and see which decisions will be taken.
Being an expert consultancy in the finance sector and having supported many mergers before, we know the real challenges of these mergers: not the big strategic visions, but rather challenges in the IT landscapes (many legacy systems), the difference in both customer-facing and internal processes and of course the very different work cultures.
