Organisational transformation after a Post-Merger Integration

Dynamic business environments often require agile implementation frameworks. We recently completed an almost one-year long engagement at a wind power client, supporting a global organizational transformation. Following significant growth of one of their business units due to business acquisitions and restructuring, the main drivers of change were both vertical and horizontal value chain integration; to extend, share and consolidate know-how and capabilities; to streamline processes and to increase organizational effectiveness. Some of the key challenges included the alignment of the products and technologies, a complex IT environment, and the integration of different regional and company cultures into a strong global team. Agile implementation frameworks are suited for such dynamic business environments and enable fast and effective results. This was reflected in a variety of initiatives with short-, medium- and long-term delivery and impact.
